Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about this product.

Installation & Electrical

What room temperature and humidity does the unit require?

For reliable operation, keep the room temperature below 32°C and relative humidity (RH) below 60%.

How much clearance does the unit need for ventilation?

Keep the unit upright and leave at least 100 mm of clearance at the front, rear, left, and right sides for ventilation.

What plug does this unit use? Does it need a dedicated circuit?

It uses a standard NEMA 5-15P plug. A dedicated circuit is not required.

Doors, Glass & Shelves

Do the glass doors self-close? Can they stay open or be reversed?

Yes. The doors stay open at 90° and self-close when opened less than 90°. The door swing is factory-set and cannot be reversed on site.

Are the shelves adjustable?

Yes. The shelves are height-adjustable. Stay within the stated shelf load limit and keep the supply and return air vents clear.

Cleaning & Maintenance

How should I clean and maintain the unit?

Condenser: Every 1–3 months, remove dust with a soft brush or vacuum. Do not spray or rinse the condenser directly with water.

Drain / evaporation pan: Empty standing water regularly and clean with a mild detergent to help prevent algae, bacteria, and clogged drains.

Shelves: Remove and wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool.

Glass: Use a mild glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid ammonia, alcohol, and abrasive cleaners, which may damage the Low-E coating.

Door gaskets: Wipe with warm water and a mild detergent. Check for cracks or wear, and keep the gaskets clean and flexible.

Delivery & Inspection

Do I need liftgate service?

If your delivery location does not have a forklift or loading dock, request liftgate service when ordering. Without a liftgate, the driver generally will not lower the unit from the truck for you.

What should I check when the unit arrives?

Inspect the outer packaging for visible damage before the driver leaves.

Check for signs that the unit was severely tilted during transit. Tilting the unit more than 45° may affect compressor oil return.

If you find damage, note it on the delivery receipt, take clear photos, and contact the supplier or manufacturer within 48 hours so your freight claim is not affected.
